For more than 20 years, Alberti Woodworking, Inc., in Union, New Jersey, has manufactured fixtures and furniture for the custom construction market. Examples of the company’s work including retail jewelry establishments, offices and boardrooms can be found throughout central New Jersey.

Hand lacquring and spray spainting have been the practice throughout the history of the company. Alberti’s philosophy ensures that the uncoated product has the highest standard of preparation, because the product will neve be properly finished unless the foundation is properly done.

In 2000, Alberti Woodworking purchased a 65″ wide UV-cure panel coating line to improve response and uniformity for the large lacqering jobs it was asked to undertake. The line includes a roll coater at the in-feed station, curtain coater after the acceleration zone and a UV-cure station after the deceleration zone.  It is being used now for finishing wood panels, ceiling and stock panels before they are used for building cabinets, parts or displays.

Custom and toll panel coating on this line is now being offered by Alberti Woodworking which operates from a 22,000-square foot factory. The UV-cure panel coating line is especially suited for wood, wood-like, laminates, plastic and metal panels up to 65″ wide and 14′ long. There is no minimum size. It can process materials ranging in thickness and smoothness.
